AGIP-11: Treasury Swap Proposal with Gomble

AGIP-11: Treasury Swap Proposal with Gomble

TL;DR

This proposal seeks community approval to execute a treasury swap between AGLD DAO and Gomble, exchanging $100,000 worth of $AGLD from the DAO treasury for an equivalent value of $GM tokens. The tokens will be exchanged at a fair market price. This proposal follows a promising opportunity identified through ongoing discussions with Gomble, one of the most forward-looking Web3 gaming projects in the space. As both ecosystems actively explore deeper collaboration in developer support, gaming showcases, and chain integrations, this swap would serve as a foundation for long-term strategic alignment.

Introduction

As part of our ongoing efforts to grow the Adventure Layer ecosystem and expand the reach of $AGLD in the broader onchain gaming space, this proposal introduces a strategic treasury swap between AGLD DAO and Gomble.

Gomble is the blockchain-native arm of 111%, a global leader in casual mobile gaming. With over 110 million players, 300+ launched games, and multiple top-charting titles, the team has demonstrated excellence in game development, player engagement, and large-scale community building. Backed by leading investors including Binance Labs, Spartan, Hashed, and Animoca, Gomble is bringing its expertise into Web3 to build a fairer, more social, and more rewarding gaming ecosystem.

$GM, Gomble’s native ecosystem token, is set to be launched shortly. This proposal would enable AGLD DAO to participate early as a strategic ecosystem partner, exchanging $100,000 worth of $AGLD for $GM tokens ahead of its official TGE. This move would serve as both a treasury diversification strategy and a meaningful signal of long-term alignment between the two projects.

Possible Future Agenda

During early-stage conversations, the AGLD contributor team recognized that Gomble’s Web3 ambitions share several values with the goals of Adventure Layer, especially around building AI-native, decentralized, and socially driven gaming ecosystems.

As such, the swap may serve as a step toward potential longer-term collaboration. Some topics under discussion include:

  • Developer-facing initiatives, such as joint hackathons, game builder support, or technical workshops

  • Community engagement, including showcases, tournaments, or cross-ecosystem activation events

  • Exploration of technical interoperability, where certain Gomble titles could one day explore support for, or integration with, Adventure Layer’s onchain infrastructure

None of these items are being proposed as conditions of the swap. Rather, they reflect shared interests that could be explored further based on the outcome of this proposal.

Swap Terms

  • Amount: $100,000 worth of tokens exchanged

  • Assets: $AGLD ↔ $GM (Gomble’s ecosystem token)

  • Valuation: Market closing price at the day before execution

  • Lock-up: Both sides will commit to a minimum 6-month lock-up period. Vesting schedules beyond this will be aligned bilaterally and shared transparently.

This swap represents a mutual expression of support, without any obligation of exclusivity or deployment commitment.

Rationale

This proposal is consistent with AGLD DAO’s long-standing vision to:

  • Position $AGLD as a base asset for gaming economies

  • Forge deep technical and community relationships across the onchain gaming ecosystem

  • Proactively allocate treasury assets to support promising, aligned builders in the space

By participating in Gomble’s ecosystem early, AGLD DAO stands to benefit from Gomble’s large user base, game development pipeline, and growing presence across Telegram and multi-chain gaming platforms.

Conclusion

We believe this treasury swap represents a strong strategic move for AGLD DAO. It strengthens our position in the Web3 gaming space while laying the groundwork for deeper collaboration with a world-class partner. As always, the final decision rests with the $AGLD community.

We now submit this proposal for a vote on Tally to determine whether this swap should be executed by the abovementioned terms.

This is a solid strategic play for both ecosystems. Aligning with a Web2 gaming giant like Gomble as they enter Web3 could bring serious network effects to $AGLD and Adventure Layer. Early exposure to $GM + potential infra integrations = win-win. Let’s get this swap done.

This looks like a strong step forward for AGLD DAO. Swapping with a solid gaming project like Gomble could really open doors for more visibility, partnerships, and utility in the Web3 gaming space. As long as the lock-up and alignment terms stay transparent, this could be a smart move for long-term growth

This is what I love about Adventure Layer. It is always community oriented.

Strategic Alignment Makes Sense

This is the kind of proposal that shows maturity in treasury management. AGLD aligning with Gomble especially before TGE is a smart move if we want to position $AGLD at the heart of next-gen gaming economies. I like that the DAO is thinking ahead about developer collaboration and technical integration.

Collaborating with a well-established gaming project like Gomble might not just expand the ecosystem, but also strengthen AGLD’s position in the broader Web3 narrative. If the structure is community-friendly and clearly communicated, it might set a precedent for future partnerships.

As Gomble steps into the Web3 space, teaming up with them could amplify both $AGLD’s reach and the Adventure Layer’s influence. Feels like a move worth locking in.

Great to see the AGLD DAO supporting other gaming projects as we advance towards the goal of making fully onchain games great again.

We are also excited to kick off this strategic treasury swap! Excited to see the future of this partnership.

I really like this move by the AGLD DAO. As someone following both ecosystems closely, this swap feels like more than just numbers, it’s a meaningful step toward deeper synergy in Web3 gaming.
